Woking Borough Council embraces the use of modern technology to show off their local landmarks, facilities and spaces to the general public. In this case, the main Shopping Town Centre which currently is undergoing a major town redevelopment. We were asked to update the local Google imagery as well as create 360 virtual walk-through around the town centre.

As part of our project, we also conducted a detail analysis of the local geo ensuring that all businesses in the area were visible on Google Maps, as well as removing closed businesses. Its a surprising fact that only 40% of tenants inside a shopping centre is visible on Maps. We will leave you to do the maths in loss of potential footfall.

What better way to show off the look and feel of a buzzing town centre than with one of our Google 360 Virtual Tours – designed to optimise and and be found on online searches. This increases retail footfall and visits to the area.

The below example is a collective custom tour 360 portal of all local areas designed for Woking Borough Council to show off. This encourages greater interest in the area and of course further visits.
